Flowers bloom not in a flower garden, but within my soul,

where spring makes its appearance, as if by a magic spell.

Dry branches burst into blossom, silent birds begin to sing,

a fountain of joy rejuvenates the desert spring.

Separated from my beloved, I make separation my home;

I make peace with my sorrow, and let the buzzing spring bees in my mind roam;

My heart a nest of happiness, my soul filled with immortal hope

Inside the cage of my heart, I nurture love in its eternal scope.
