Junaidul Haque is a writer of short stories and essays. He was born in Kishoreganj in 1955 and was brought up in Dhaka. He enrolled as a student of Department of English, University of Dhaka in 1975 and passed MA in English in 1978 (exam held in 1981). He retired as the General Manager, Finance and Admin of a reputed foreign airlines in 2018. He has eight books of fiction and essays to his credit.
