Amrita Bhattacharyya

Amrita Bhattacharyya is a bi-lingual poet and a writer. She is presently working as an Assistant Professor at Amity Institute of English Studies and Research, Amity University Kolkata. She started her journey of creative writing at the age of eleven. She is the author of seven collections of poetry, a collection of short-stories and a novel. Her writings (poems and stories) have been published from WorldInkers (Senegal), Poetry Out Loud (London), Pynecone Review (Austria), Indian Literature (Sahitya Akademi), Indian Writers’ Forum, Anandabazar Patrika, Ajkal Patrika, Desh (Ananda Publishers), Muse India and various renowned magazines and journals in India and abroad. She has been interviewed and invited to read her poems on Radio stations, TV channels and magazines. She has translated many poems in the World Poetry Collection.
