All of a sudden,

Someone arrived from heaven and said,

“Hello!”

I, in doubt,

Couldn’t decide what to say

As a little voice of innocence

Mesmerized me with an air of smile.

But my tongue uttered,

“Hello!”

 

My eyes got blurred,

My sense dulled.

But my tongue uttered,

“Alhamdulillah.”

 

I feel as if

I lived through these days

Of hellish agony and pain

And kept my breath going for

This day only.

 

And now,

I want to live and relive

This day of jubilation

Time and again

As I welcomed my little boy

On October 3, 2024

In this hectic world of chaos.
