I lay my ears awake

I lay my ears awake.
I keep my ears wide awake.
Deep into the doors of my unfathomable soul,
Again and again.
I keep my ears awake-
To hear the tales of tears and smiles,
Of those neighborhoods unknown-
Again and again!
Where the wandering hornet spurns and
Flouts all for the quiet and secluded-
Blue lotus..
Awake, I keep listening to the sweet-singing-
Deserted night-bird in utter gloom of darkness
Over and again!
What is that spirit, Oh I wonder, no one knows about,
I can only grasp the momentary flash of its glow,
And attain a bit of it by imagination,
While the rest- perceive I cannot at all !
May be my words sometimes find expression
In the signs of the Over-soul, and
I feel, the divine composes its messages
Unrevealed, through the vast melodious tunes,
Again and again!
