A Silver Lining

Please, don’t breathe in the air

that incites you to abandon me.

It’s more blissful to die in silence

than endure your negligence.

Sometimes I hallucinate a bubble

in which confined is an ailing flea

trying to escape awful agonies—

at times printed words are obscure.

Even if you turn your back on trees

leaves love to produce music.

Clouds and winds often unite

to move your minds to light.

The light directs my soul to solitude

where breathes a bliss—

my silence, my verse, and you,

offering all the grace I pine for.
