A Different Shade
Paula Louise Shene
Almighty God in His wisdom
Decided on a colorful prism
Infinite palette to splash His hues
Found In Man, beast, and scenic views
From the snowy white Polar caps
Equator melting temps in Andes gaps
Rust colored cliffs covered with bushes and trees
Every one shedding and regrowing vivid green leaves
Nature in harmony with God’s jars of brush
Tones set to vibrate when fronds turn lacy lush
Shades from loam to Emerald and all between
Hot colors, warm, pale, and cold, all shimmer gleam
Apricot to Cantaloupe to the deepest of red/
Dios has the eye to see shade woven thread
Eternal God bestows to each child spirit seed
Gifts boundless, opening hearts to love’s need
